Finally I get the TV back from Westinghouse Digital

Good gosh, this took a long time. The TV wouldn’t work properly with the VCR — the sync was all screwed up. It didn’t support HDMI. What a horrible tech purchase. Reminder about their customer service – don’t buy from Westinghouse Digital.

I called Westinghouse Digital today.  Case 372619.  Spoke with Lindsay.  She told me to check on 2/7.  It’s now 2/20.  So, I still haven’t heard anything good.  Customer Service assured me that they will send me a replacement as soon as they receive it, but nothing.   it’s been almost 7 weeks.  What a load of crap!!  I sat on hold for customer support for for over an hour several times, just to be disconnected.  Based on this experience, I don’t think I’ll ever get a Westinghouse Digital TV again.

So, I bought a 20″ wide screen LCD TV from Tiger Direct.  I bought it before Christmas and saved it for my wife for a surprise.  When I un-boxed it and plugged it in, the TV didn’t even work.  It would display things on the D-Sub link, but the TV just was blank.  I sent the TV back to Westinghouse, and haven’t heard anything.
